About the Show

Project Y presents an evening of two newly commissioned one acts written in response to the November 2016 election. 'Great Again' is part of Project Y's annual Women in Theatre Festival.

In 'The Test' by Crystal Skillman and directed by Jessi D. Hill, an English teacher in a struggling high school readies her juniors for the most important test of their lives. But when a symbol of hate appears in her classroom, she and two students on opposite sides of the recent election find their lives forever changed.

Chiori Miyagawa's 'In the Line' directed by Kristin Horton revolves around a woman who drops something while standing in a long line of people. She looks for the lost object as the line transforms into other lines—people waiting to vote, to buy the latest Nintendo, to get into the hottest restaurant—and she struggles to keep her original place. When she finally arrives at the front of this line that has shifted time and space, what she finds is a surprise. A magical exploration of loss, long lines, and letting go.

Great acting, Great staging, Slow, Funny

See it if U don't care for some work in progress. 1st story was fun to watch. The 2nd could b great if some repetitive scenes r removed.

Don't see it if You can't put up with slow scene. The staging and acting saves the play although 2nd story needs help.
