GREY ROCK is by Palestine’s leading playwright/director, Amir Nizar Zuabi. A Palestinian man dreams of reaching the moon. He builds a rocket inside his shed in the West Bank. When his family discovers his plan, chaos ensues. This humorous, poetic work is performed by a five-member cast (from the West Bank and Israel) featuring renowned theater/screen actor, Khalifa Natour. Commissioned and Produced by U.S.-based Remote Theater Project to address English speaking communities, GREY ROCK is about the inalienable right to dream. Premiered at La MaMa Theater in NYC, January 2019.
