"Little Shop of Horrors" returns to its off-Broadway roots in a new production starring Emmy winner Tammy Blanchard, Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan, and two-time Tony winner Christian Borle. More…
From the show:
Don’t miss the “triumphant and delicious revival” (The New York Times) of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS! Experience the hit musical as it was meant to be seen, in an intimate 270-seat setting. This “wildly exuberant and irresistible” (The Hollywood Reporter) production stars Emmy® Award winner Tammy Blanchard ("Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows"), Tony Award® nominee Gideon Glick (To Kill a Mockingbird), and two-time Tony winner Christian Borle (Something Rotten!). Together they bring succulent new life to “the best musical ever adapted from a movie” (Time Out, Critics’ Pick).
Featuring a book and lyrics by Oscar® and Grammy Award® winner Howard Ashman (The Little Mermaid), music by Oscar and Tony winner Alan Menken (Aladdin), and direction by Tony winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening), “this LITTLE SHOP is to die for!” (NY1).
See it if you just have to see every incarnation of this show.
Don't see it if you want anything new or different. This is a rehashing of the original. Boring.
See it if Acting and singing were top notch. The adaptation was horrible. Tony award winner was not in show and no announcement for understudy.
Don't see it if You expect a revival or a semblance of one.
