From Third Rail Projects (creators of "Then She Fell") and the producers of the Drama Desk nominated "Shake and Bake: Love's Labour's Lost," comes this 360-degree environmental staging of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night’s Dream." This sumptuous theatrical experience features an elegantly designed tasting menu and is housed in a historic building, just steps from New York City's Union Square.
See it if you want to watch a scripted relay race where actors are obligated to divert focus from the play at hand to a lot of unrelated tasks
Don't see it if you need the performances/direction/aesthetic immersion to be strong & original enough to balance out a preponderance of gimmicky diversions
See it if You like food and a show-type entertainment, are already familiar with the play and want to see a unique execution of it
Don't see it if You are not familiar with the play, are expecting a substantial amount of food, or need more space as the tables are fairly tightly packed
See it if You like dinner theater, Shakespeare, and immersive sets. Great site specific design and concept. Fluffy but fun.
Don't see it if U were expecting something transformational like other third rail shows. Much more traditional approach.
