About the show

Part comedy, part absurdism, part horror, this new work tells the story of Pete, a small town, Midwestern guy and a vicious, yet oddly smooth-talking Tyrannosaur named Nero. More…

'Pete Rex' is a wholly human story about depression and the choices a young man makes in a fruitless attempt to remain insulated from the fragility of life, and how those very choices ironically lead him, his loved ones, and the world directly into the jaws of mortal danger.

Funny, Disappointing, Confusing

See it if You want to watch gifted actors attempt to breath life into a poorly constructed, tone-confused script.

Don't see it if You don't want to see a promising idea delivered poorly through uneven pacing and confusing, inconsistent intent.

Banal, Excruciating, Slow, Cliched, Quirky

See it if Like childish silliness attempting to be philosophical. The Rex character was very good.

Don't see it if Like well put together plays that move along quickly.
