See it if Want 2 C reasonably talented cast try 2 make poorly written material work in a production that has nowhere to go. The singing is fine.
Don't see it if Don't like shows verging on tasteless & uncomfortable w story & characters that feel mean spirited. The cast works hard, but it's unfunny
See it if voice and acting of Matt Loehr and voice Marrissa Rosen , plus the acting and voice of the uncredited guest are enough.
Don't see it if you need a solid book that has direction, an exceptionally score, and leads where one doesn't need to hold back to cover the others weakness
See it if Uh, no. Except for the accompanist. Tonight's special-guest was Kristen Mengelkoch. No worries. I didn't know her either.
Don't see it if ...more to come...
See it if You're redheaded and want a laugh. Or you just want a laugh. It's a show that delivers a couple good jokes well.
Don't see it if You want to see something serious or "deep." There's really not enough funny to fill an hour and a half, either.
See it if you'll enjoy a funny show well performed by a small cast; singing was especially good.
Don't see it if you won't enjoy a show which is basically a SNL/Improv comedy skit. There wasn't enough to fill 90 minutes. It really dragged towards the end
See it if A few strong songs but the show is an unfunny one joke show. Protagonist is mean and doesn’t grow or learn. A laugh here and there.
Don't see it if She’s obviously talented but her team should have given her real feedback on her work. We came away feeling it was pointless.
See it if You are looking for a show that is a star vehicle for Katie Thompson to show off her pipes of vocal steel.
Don't see it if You are looking for a polished show with a compelling score or, you know, a plot. This show needs some serious editing.
See it if You're looking for a silly fun show to occupy an hour of your time, or are a fan of the cast (who all do a good job with the material given)
Don't see it if You haven't the patience for a show where every joke is stretched into 5 minutes until it's no longer funny.
See it if you want a campy musical. It was a fun show to kick back and watch. The singers are really good, the story not so much.
Don't see it if you are looking for a show with a strong plot.
See it if You'd like to see a show that's fast-paced and funny and will make zero demands on your intelligence--just mindless fun.
Don't see it if You demand some brains and wit along with the zaniness.
See it if You like small shows with talented singers. You like the absurd.
Don't see it if You need a plot grounded in reality. You want a big show with big numbers - this has 4 actors and minimal set.
See it if ..you are easily amused by silly shtick. A secret society of redheads wants to save their breed from extinction. Too ludicrous to enjoy.
Don't see it if .. you don't enjoy lame characters or audience participation.
See it if in musicals I look for great voices, good songs and the cast who enjoy themselves and beleive in their show. Rrred has all these elements.
Don't see it if the plot is silly but at least unusual and different from typical old-school grimacing found in so many musicals.
See it if It had some ok staging, I guess. And a mildly amusing powerpoint presentation. Most of the singing was decent.
Don't see it if The songs frequently didn't rhyme, there was fat shaming, the songs were not good, and the jokes weren't funny. Avoid.
See it if Big talent on a small stage Absurd in a good way-story line about the extinction of redheads and what to do about it. Kevin Zak gets an A+.
Don't see it if Plot is secondary to the clever songs and energetic performances. Some pop culture references went over my head.
See it if You want to see a show that needs a tremendous amount of work on its book to be entertaining.
Don't see it if You want to see a charming funny show.
Also The surprise guest is the one thing that I found really worthwhile.
See it if you like small casts, a little bit of breaking the fourth wall and requesting a little bit of audience participation and great voices.
Don't see it if you can't see humor in the premise of a secret meeting for a revolutionary, semi-pyramid scheme-y society for the propagation of red heads.
See it if You want to see REALLY talented singers. Or if (like me) you're a redhead and you just want to enjoy some ginger silliness.
Don't see it if You require your shows to have a plot or substance or good writing. You're bothered by inserted songs that have nothing to do with the show.
