See it if If you are a red head or have a family member that is, believe in minority rights and survival of the species.

Don't see it if Are looking for an absorbing traditional musical that offends no one.

See it if you're a redhead? Idk. If you're a fan of Katie Thompson, and you're down for a goofy cabaret show set in a 'redheads anonymous' meeting.

Don't see it if you're expecting a plot-driven book musical about badass redheads staging a revolution or something, like I was.

Also I went because I'm a fan of Katie and love her music and it sounded cool, but other than that I knew nothing about it. It was not at ALL what I went in thinking it was going to be. It had its moments and laughs but ultimately was not for me. It's kind of one joke, and loses steam pretty quickly.

It's basically a cooky 2-person cabaret show (with a couple special guests) at a secret meeting for redheads about how to save themselves from extinction in a world that's out to get them.

See it if you'd enjoy seeing a campy musical comedy with a small cast (and one surprise guest!) about an underground group of radicalized redheads.

Don't see it if you don't like campy musicals that are short on story but long on concept.

Also The singing was a pleasant surprise in this otherwise modest and unassuming little off-Broadway outing. Some serious pipes contained herein! And the surprise guest, which I'm told always changes, was a real hoot.... Read more Read less

See it if you'd like to see some very talented vocalists sing a mixed-quality (some songs were really great) original score with some occasional humor

Don't see it if you need a well-written book, more than just a piano, or don't appreciate raunchy humor.

See it if you like Monty Python or absurdist theater. The singing is good & the premise is intriguing. Great singing and awesome surprise guest!

Don't see it if you want a show that makes a lot of sense. I got the point but the show meandered all over the place. Giveaways didn't obscure the problems

See it if You want a show that is light on story and staging but funny and campy with excellent singing

Don't see it if You want a story of any depth or breadth, campy singing won't charm you through the 90 minutes

See it if You love Katie Thompson and her music, or small, concept Musicals with funny, clever lyrics and catchy tunes. Amazing voices!

Don't see it if You need a meatier plot. It’s pretty much a conceptual concert of Katie Thompson’s music. It’s really good! But the plot is not fleshed out.

See it if You are happy enough with greatly talented singers. It certainly had energy and pep. The performers were likable.

Don't see it if You need a good solid story line along with the great singing. This just didn’t until the last 15 minutes or so. They tried really hard.

See it if You are into silly premises. You agree with Johnny Carson when he said "Buy the premise, buy the bit." You appreciate satire.

Also I love this show even if I will pay for the ticket it is worth it.

Don't see it if It is a silly piece. It has a talented creative team but The book needs work. It belongs in the Fringe festival. Marissa Rosen is hilarious.

Also I think the show had great potential as Katie is amazing singer and song writer. I personally felt there was not enough material to carry the show as the format seemed a bit messy and all over the place, like a presentation gone wrong. I really enjoyed all of the voices and the guest singers. I appreciated the quieter, more down to earth songs as I felt they gave us a bit more motivation to empathize with the assistant. Don't see it if ...you like your freedom.

See it if You like great songwriting and beautiful voices intwined in a bizarre but funny story.

Don't see it if You want serious theater and want to avoid a few unnecessary fat shaming jokes.

See it if you enjoy off-beat musical comedy. The cast of 4 (plus guest star) has amazing voices and comedic timing, and it's a fun, fresh show.

Don't see it if didn't like Little Shop of Horrors or are easily offended by R-rated humor.

See it if You just want to see Katie Thompson.

Don't see it if You want to actually see a musical with substance.

Also I went as I'm a fan of Katie Thompson, but left the theater completely disappointed. As much as I love her, it felt like it was just a vanity project not an actual musical. 'The Katie Thompson Show' would have been a better name for it.

The girl who plays Stephanie gave a great all round performance, but only spent about 10 minutes on stage throughout the whole show and only has one song. The guy who plays GJ is quite funny. It said there was a choreographer but there wasn't any choreography. The guest star thing is cool if you're into the guest star, but it just seems like a pull to get more people into the theater which was still half empty despite being only very small.
