See it if are a big fan of the Golden Girls show. They did a great job of capturing the essence of the show and the characters especially Dorothy!!
Don't see it if you are expecting the funniest show ever. A little too long for my opinion. Basically a 90 minute episode of the show, but very funny.
See it if The puppet concept was great..first two scenes were funny not enough profanity, great acting & singing, Entertaining.

See it if You are a HUGE Golden Girls fan and you feel you SHOULD see it because of that.
Don't see it if You don't want to be disappointed inexecution & character choices. Except for Dorothy, the rest did not capture the originals (for me).
See it if you're a massive Golden Girls fan. (And this is the only reason to see it.) It's really fun to see the puppet mannerisms. The cast is great.
Don't see it if you're looking for something really clever or witty. This ain't Avenue Q. There are fun GG references but the dull story line really drags.
See it if you love puppets and want to unplug your brain for ninety minutes.
Don't see it if you'll be frustrated by a tremendous missed opportunity here to have done something genuinely funny, insightful, or surprising.
See it if You enjoyed the Golden Girls and wondered what would happen if Avenue Q took over
Don't see it if You are looking for a bright and refreshing take on the Golden Girls. This version is remix of old episodes without the same twinkle.
See it if it is for people who support homo sexuality and want a forum. The leads are 4 men dressed as the girls. Some are better than others.
Don't see it if Very sexual and against Trump. The story is very fluffy
"Everything you love from the sitcom...It is funny, heartwarming and nostalgic all rolled into one...The puppets created by Joel Gennari are fabulous, as are Michael LaMasa as Dorothy, Emmanuelle Zeesman as Sophia and Cat Greenfield as Blanche. They capture the characters and are feistier than ever before with mouths that crack jokes like whips. Only Arlee Chadwick fails to capture the essence of Rose...Rockefeller's script is irreverent and bawdy."

"The production packs in some of the show’s great punch lines and draws on various plotlines fans will find familiar...No, the laughs don’t always land as they do on the series, but that’s to be expected...The performers are all to be applauded for tackling such well-known personalities; each of them voices their character and supplements their puppet’s performance with their own expressions and body language, while careful not to pull too much focus."

"The puppet parody you never knew you desperately needed. 'That Golden Girls Show' is a faithful parody that honored the hit series yet still maintained originality...Rockefeller stayed true to the characters and their multi-season arcs. It was as if Rockefeller's script was a treatment for an actual episode...With the material speaking for itself, Rockefeller did what most playwright-director combos rarely do: succeed."

"As a puppet paean to four of TV’s most beloved comic icons, it definitely works, and is the perfect escape for anyone looking for laughs this holiday season...There’s another reason to see the show other than to laugh at tried-and-true 'Golden Girls' one-liners: The amazing onstage puppetry of the gifted cast, with their exaggerated facial expressions and spot-on vocal impersonations of the real-life actresses that played the original 'girls' back in the day."

"The insults and banter are not fresh. There is a lack of innovative writing and/or parody. The set is extremely impressive and the actors behind the puppets have mastered the speaking style, hand gestures and body movements of characters they play. The puppets are stunningly crafted. However, if the weak plot and lame jokes in this show were what was portrayed in the original series, it wouldn't have lasted seven minutes, let alone seven seasons."

"'That Golden Girls Show!' is pretty silly and we had a great time experiencing it together. Is it a great show? Not really...It's merely a fun night out, leaving you wanting to go home and put on the DVDs you have in your collection...Having half the cast not quite as sharp as the other half also led to the not-as-funny-as-I-wanted-it-to-be thing...We giggled at the terrific one-liners that are so iconic. It was the original stuff that didn't make us giggle quite as much."

"The crowd came ready to be entertained and they were unquestionably satisfied. The puppet parody takes everything beloved about the classic ‘80s comedy and packs it into 90 witty minutes of sarcasm-laden shenanigans...There’s a lot going on, but creator Jonathan Rockefeller has done a marvelous job of keeping it all cohesive and easy to follow, as well as pitch-perfect...I’m confident that if you’re a fan of the original you’ll love what 'That Golden Girls Show!' has to offer."

"If the plot doesn’t necessarily break much new narrative ground, the puppetry provides an added measure of whimsy...Part of me wishes the show had laid a bit harder into the self-aware meta humor that occasionally surfaces when characters remark on the fact that there are only two permanent sets and wonder why anyone would be interested in a puppet show...Like a late-night piece of cheesecake, 'That Golden Girls Show!' provides a loving reunion with old friends."
