Join Show-Score Members for an unforgettable night of performances and music centered around Anton Chekhov. If you love the work of this prolific playwright, this is a must see event! And if you don't love Chekhov? Come change your mind! This is a celebration not to be missed!

Featuring music from the Russian troupe Bobok and performances from Sam Underwood (The Following, Homeland), Valorie Curry (The Tick, American Pastoral), singer Lauren Pritchard (Songbird) and poet Alissa Quart (Monetized), Fundamental Theater Project and much, much more! Come for the Chekhov, stay for the vodka and pirorzhki, or vice versa!

Now in it's 7th year, this annual Chekhov Celebration is sponsored by Columbia University’s Harriman Institute, hosted by Harriman’s Visiting Chekhov Scholar Laura Strausfeld, and is a blast for any theatergoer, thanks to the fantastic artists in attendance, the entertaining program and the deep conversation one finds at the bottom of a vodka bottle.

“Wear black if you must. But come, commiserate and celebrate,” says Pulitizer-prize-winning theater critic Margo Jefferson, attendee of the 6th annual Chekhov Celebration.
