Clever, Fluffy, Intelligent, Slow

See it if You love verse. This is not Ives's strongest work. The acting is fine all around

Don't see it if You are impatient with predictable stories. This show is all about the verse, and that is the reason to see it.

Bad acting., Clever, Intelligent

See it if Carson Elrod is sublime, and unfortunately there is not enough of him here. Kelly Hutchinson is also great. Supporting cast is fine.

Don't see it if but the four leads are generally out of their depth in this very challenging comic material, that sadly, in more capable hands would shine. Read more

Dull, Monotonous, Banal, Excruciating, Overrated

See it if you want to see a very good performance by Kelly Hutchinson. She is the only actor who appears to know what she is doing on stage.

Effervescent, Clever, Great acting, Great writing, Great fun

See it if you love wordplay, clever plotting, pure entertainment, mistaken identities, wit, cleverness, restoration comedy without the formality.

Don't see it if you can't focus on densely clever language in rhyming iambic pentameter.

Enchanting, Great acting, Great staging, Entertaining, Funny

See it if you appreciate physical comedy in period style; smart quick wit and wordplay; simple, effective staging and a wealth of talented actors.

Don't see it if you lack the ability to laugh at the occasional raunchy joke or have no appreciation for iambic pentameter, even when it makes fun of itself
