Great singing, Great dancing, a feel good show, Classic fun show

See it if you want to see a rare Cole Porter musical with a silly story, but great singing and tap dancing. A old fashioned feel good musical.

Don't see it if you don't like silly musicals where the story is paper thin, but the singing & dancing make up for it.. A chance to see a lost gem.

Great singing, Dated, Great dancing, Silly

See it if you want to hear Cole Porter songs performed by very talented singers and dancers, backed by an excellent orchestra.

Don't see it if you require a musical to have a coherent plot or don't enjoy silly jokes. The Durante bits were tiresome, despite Chamberlin's best efforts.

Delightful, Entertaining, Great singing, Fluffy, Pre-code

See it if You want to see a funny, fluffy, pre-code musical (innuendo galore). You like musicals set in the 1920s. You like tapping, booze & wood.

Don't see it if You like serious plays. You don't mind hearing some silly songs. You don't like minimal staging. You hate booze, broads and Broadway.

Great staging, Great singing, Funny, Dated, Entertaining

See it if It's gone now, but, cross fingers, there will be a recording. Two number were outstanding w/ sublime orchestrations: "Love for Sale" and

Don't see it if "Let's Fly Away." Cyrille Aimée scored a major success as "A Lady of the Evening" and Scarlett Strallen stood out as a "strong" ingenue.+++

Entertaining, Great singing, Fluffy, Great dancing, Wonderful orchestrations

See it if if you love Cole Porter's music, with some Jimmy Durante tunes (who knew?) thrown in.

Don't see it if you're looking for something profound. Throwback to the 'thirties.
