In this year's 'Tragislasher' repertory season, Spicy Witch Productions investigates gendered violence and hypocritical sexual expectations. While a contemporary audience can poke fun at some of the more over-the-top puritanical sexism in 'The Revenger's Tragedy,' the 'she was asking for it' argument remains ever present in our culture. Running in repertory with 'Bonesetter: A Tragislasher,' this adaptation of Middleton's play seeks to examine the misogyny of this centuries-old text to reveal how it still governs our sexual politics today.

See it if you want to support new theatre groups in the city

Don't see it if you want a show that is easy to follow, or has a more professional vibe than one that feels like a college underground production
