See it if you'd like insightful, funny, touching alcoholism story.What saves our hero? Not usual AA religious belief. Intellig script, strg lead actor

Don't see it if you dislike actors playing many roles. Pace sometimes frenetic. Material is a bit repetitive (addiction is). Still, inspiring and moving.

See it if Talented young man succumbs to alcoholism, and eventually recovers. Entertaining and moving. I cried.

Don't see it if You are uninterested in another addiction story. But the theme is deeper: young man is stricken by disease. Suffering yields to wisdom.

See it if good writing, clever staging and great acting in a good cause will hold your attention,

Don't see it if Alcoholism is triggering issue for you.

See it if The make it funny. Looking into a alcoholic upside down world, the lies they not only tell themselves, but other.

Don't see it if If subject matter is not your thing.

Also This show is funny for a serious subject.

See it if 3 exceptional Bwy actors (especially the lead) show tale of guy who drinks excessively thru-out the day & how it affects everyone around him

Don't see it if Folding chairs very uncomfortable w/hard backs. If person next to you moves, you feel a violent jolt in your seat. Highly uncomfortable.

See it if Want realistic-seeming story of addiction told in humorous, almost farcical way. Lead actor very good. Touching in part. Holds attention.

Don't see it if Don't like actors playing multi-roles, would find story of decades long addiction & its denial too upsetting, don't like religious reference

Also I struggled with how to score this - it was almost TOO entertaining given the subject matter. (I am not fond of seeing depictions of drunk people or behavior and never found this as funny as my audience-mates.)

A small caveat:There were some really weird and off-putting scenes with "the Jews" who ultimately came up with the path to Steven's recovery. The otherwise good actors portraying these characters had awful "Jewish" accents and near-offensive mannerisms. I was squirming.

Don't see it if You like light fare and comedies.

See it if you have ever been touched by addiction--and that means all of us.This fast moving, touching, brilliantly acted play is not to be missed

Don't see it if you are looking for mindless comedy.This is very funny, but it makes you think and feel. Helped me understand how hard it is to quit.

See it if you're interested in addiction story told in comical and accessible way. Great performance from Joe Tapper.

Don't see it if you can't see the humor in serious and tragic situations. High energy and funny performance with very dark subject matter.

See it if Three fine actors tell the tale of the ravages of alcoholism. Creative and engaging performance.

Don't see it if If you prefer light dramas or musicals.

See it if you'd enjoy a funny, touching, heart-breaking journey through the highs and rock-bottom lows of alcoholism.

Don't see it if you are triggered by simulated heavy drinking or feel that alcoholism should never be presented with jokes and laughter.

Also You are in for a roller-coaster ride of emotions as Joe Tapper expertly navigates the rocky road of alcoholism in Sean Daniels' biographical story.

See it if a small show with great acting that tells the true and typical story of an addict and his attempt to get clean

Don't see it if you don't want to follow one man's redemptive story, however,​ this simple well-acted​ play really has heart

Don't see it if Incessant curse phrase by one character is too off putting to endure.

Also The cast has been with this show forever, so despite the heavy lifting, it moves quickly and confidently. Okay set. Nice venue. Didn't love it enough to merit a rave. It can be missed. See it if you want to see at times emotional moving play with some very skilled actors and some clever dialogue.

Don't see it if you mind some broad clichés and some missteps in handling of certain topics, don't like a heavy narrative or interchanging of parts.

Also this seems to be part of a genre I need a name for where one person narrates their life with interspersed vignettes with other actors who play multiple roles, I've seen the style twice this week. This one was the opposite of that in its strengths as the acting was exceptional here while the dialogue was not as interesting, but was not bad. The main misstep was the handling of religion and particularly Mormonism which is fine satire but you have to give something back or it comes off meanspirited, the writing wasn't quiet good enough to hit the sweetspot of critiquing and satirizing without mocking. See it if you want to see an entertaining and funny play , but which concerns a serious subject, the impact of which is not diminished by the humor.

Don't see it if you feel humor and serious subjects are not the right mixture for your tastes.
