Ambitious, Relevant, Thought-provoking

See it if Relevant today.. Relationship between parent and daughter so well done. Interplay of teenagers so good see more re: the Mom and .....

Don't see it if Teenage Girls always portrayed in a negative way. Not sure if first few rows can see the entire set. Voices sometimes do not carry.

Also I am puzzled by the reaction of a grieving mom to the problem re: out ... Read more Read less

Movingly shows kids' response to parkland hs-like shooting; but various unrelated subplots flatten effect/cause the play to lose focus

See it if powerfully shows how shootings destroy communities, how adults fail kids on brink of adulthood

Don't see it if manipulative; tries 2 bite off much 2 much; child's whiny naivete unrealistic; response 2 violence, that "stuff happens" is ridiculous

Also Play leaves impression of playwright filling up a notebook with observ... Read more Read less

Great staging, Relevant, Resonant, Thought-provoking

See it if you enjoy plays that hold a mirror up to society and ask important questions.

Don't see it if you’re looking for escapism. This is about the aftermath of a school shooting. The message is important but some scenes are too on the nose.

Great acting, Great staging, Intelligent, Thought-provoking, Resonant

See it if You like topical theater that shows you the aftermath of a tragedy. Beautifully staged, great acting. Intense

Don't see it if You don't like slow stories that don't really go anywhere. It's a slice of life look at a world gone insane.

Absorbing, Great acting, Great writing, Intelligent, Intense

See it if You like intelligent, current event focusing work

Don't see it if You’re looking for entertaining fun.

Ambitious, Disappointing, Thought-provoking, Great set, Uneven acting

See it if you want a show about the after effects of a school shooting.Show lacks focus, but has some interesting points to make.

Don't see it if you want a coherent look at our gun crisis.Show rambles and fails to show a convincing look at life after a school shooting.

Thought-provoking, Relevant

See it if you're interested in relevant plays about important issues in America, and might like play that attempts to use a young girl's point of view

Don't see it if you have seen enough plays about gun violence recently (although play is about aftermath/coping) and are looking for something more upbeat.

Ambitious, Relevant, Thought-provoking, Topical, Moving

See it if you’d be interested in a riveting drama about the aftermath of an all-too familiar tragedy.

Don't see it if you’re seeking a frivolous and light-hearted theater experience.

Absorbing, Great acting, Ambitious, Relevant, Thought-provoking

See it if you enjoy plays with great character development and watching how each character is impacted by a tragic event.

Don't see it if you don't want to think about sad things or you would rather see a musical.

Relevant, Thought-provoking

See it if You want a story of how people respond to loss and hardship (it's sort of about school shootings, but not really).

Don't see it if You like fast-paced stories that provide answers.

Absorbing, Great writing, Great staging, Intelligent, Relevant

See it if you like relevant plays about current events. The story was absorbing and well written and had some poignant moments as well as surprises.

Don't see it if you are frustrated by uneven acting. Although Linda Gravatt's performance was so great it is worth going for that alone.

Absorbing, Intense, Funny, Relevant, Intelligent

See it if You want to see a show that is relevant to real-world events. And I imagine it will stay relevant for the foreseeable future.

Don't see it if You do not want to to see a show that contains references to gun-violence.

See it if You want to see a timely exploration of gun violence issues and can forgive a few strange plot points.

Don't see it if You cannot forgive a few far fetched plot developments.

Absorbing, Edgy, Great acting, Thought-provoking, A dystopian "our town" for the 21st century where the aftermath of a school mass shooting changes lives.

See it if You want a meditation on how gun violence in school is affecting the present and the future of students and parents-hard but important topic

Don't see it if If you've been personally affected by such an incident, this might be too upsetting. No violence is shown, but the topic is searing.

Ambitious, Thought-provoking, Relevant, Intense, Excellent moments of levity

See it if you would like to see a smart playwright take on a hard topic in a mostly successful way, with great young actors at its heart.

Don't see it if a disappointing final 15 mins would ruin for you what is otherwise a very solid show or if you can't handle a show about a school shooting.

Also the show is only set in the aftermath, and not at the school, but if t... Read more Read less
