See it if You are a big enough fan of Lesli Margherita to want to see her in literally anything.

Don't see it if You want a solid show, instead of a half-baked indulgence that's half comedy, half tragedy, and all half-assed. Has nothing to do w/ Grinch

Also My main takeaways from the story:
1) Racism is correct, since Cindy Lou's parents turn out to be right to stand against miscegenation.
2) Loneliness and depression are fixed by breaking the fourth wall.

Don't see it if you like plays that are funny and entertaining

See it if you enjoy raunchy comedy

Don't see it if if you don't want to waste your time

See it if You can tolerate a bad parody of Dr. Seuss. The rhymes are forced, the meter doesn't scan, and the biggest laughs are from foul language.

Don't see it if Love Dr. Seuss, because this desecrates the tradition of good rhymes and good meter.

See it if you love terrible rhymes, enjoy predictability, have a juvenile sense of humor, wonder what happened to Cindy Lou Who, have nothing to do.

Don't see it if you love Dr. Seuss, think a couplet is a garment, care about losing 60 minutes you will never get back, hold Off Broadway to a high standard

See it if You want to see a pro do her job like a pro. Lesli Margherita is stuck in this one, clearly knows it's bad, but keeps punching.

Don't see it if You don't like racial stereotypes. Have a sense of humor, or cringe at bad rhymes.

Also The impossible ignorance required to set up the grinches fur color as a racial metaphor and then turn around and make him the worst kind of stereotype: an abusive pedophile who doesn't work and tries to kill his spouse is the absolute epitome of bad taste.
This show is otherwise simply tired and boring, but add in this massive error and it becomes unwatchable.... Read more Read less
