About the show

This wildly irreverent solo show is a heartfelt holiday parody that looks at the life of a grown-up Cindy Lou Who. Starring Lesli Margherita ('Matilda The Musical').  More…

A middle-aged Cindy Lou Who, now residing in a beaten-down trailer in the snowy hills of Mount Crumpit, is about to host a Christmas Eve party for her friends. As she prepares, she recalls from her own perspective that fated night when she first met the Grinch, and the strange turn of events her life has taken for the past 40 years.

Funny, Disappointing, Raunchy, Pointless, Irrelevant

See it if You are a big enough fan of Lesli Margherita to want to see her in literally anything.

Don't see it if You want a solid show, instead of a half-baked indulgence that's half comedy, half tragedy, and all half-assed. Has nothing to do w/ Grinch

Also My main takeaways from the story:... Read more Read less

An insult to dr. seuss

See it if You can tolerate a bad parody of Dr. Seuss. The rhymes are forced, the meter doesn't scan, and the biggest laughs are from foul language.

Don't see it if Love Dr. Seuss, because this desecrates the tradition of good rhymes and good meter.

Cliched, Banal, Great acting, Raunchy, Excruciating

See it if you love terrible rhymes, enjoy predictability, have a juvenile sense of humor, wonder what happened to Cindy Lou Who, have nothing to do.

Don't see it if you love Dr. Seuss, think a couplet is a garment, care about losing 60 minutes you will never get back, hold Off Broadway to a high standard

Banal, Cliched, Great acting, Insipid, Oblivious

See it if You want to see a pro do her job like a pro. Lesli Margherita is stuck in this one, clearly knows it's bad, but keeps punching.

Don't see it if You don't like racial stereotypes. Have a sense of humor, or cringe at bad rhymes.

Also The impossible ignorance required to set up the grinches fur color as ... Read more Read less

"This hourlong production’s point, which is to watch the brassy, very funny Ms. Margherita strut her stuff in the costume designer Jess Goldstein’s festive holiday get-up. She expertly milks the many double entendres and profane limerick-like rhymes, but this cabaret regular is equally comfortabl...

"Lombardo attempts to salvage his burnt piecrust of a play with massive amounts of whipped cream, sending us out with a sing-along and a feel-good Christmas message. But by then, it is difficult to feel much more than confusion...Incredibly, Margherita nearly saves the play with her irrepressible...

"Though the years haven't been kind to Cindy Lou...the booze-guzzling, cigarette sucking bleached blonde stays lovably upbeat...Margherita is a comical riot, shining with moxie-laden tastelessness and irreverence. She engages front row audience members, sings with gutsy verve and even raps a bit....
