This wildly irreverent solo show is a heartfelt holiday parody that looks at the life of a grown-up Cindy Lou Who. Starring Lesli Margherita ('Matilda The Musical'). More…
A middle-aged Cindy Lou Who, now residing in a beaten-down trailer in the snowy hills of Mount Crumpit, is about to host a Christmas Eve party for her friends. As she prepares, she recalls from her own perspective that fated night when she first met the Grinch, and the strange turn of events her life has taken for the past 40 years.
See it if if you want to see an entertaining show that is far from the usual holiday offerings but still leaves you feeling good. Lots of talent here!
Don't see it if you are not interested in a short (~ 70 minutes) 1 person R-rated holiday show.
See it if you're looking for a fun holiday laugh. Lesli is great, and certainly commands the room. Her spirit is infectious.
Don't see it if rhymes and couplets frustrate you, sexuality makes you uncomfortable, or you don't have any holiday spirit!
See it if You want a funny take on a classic story, have a good sense of humor, enjoy a good laugh
Don't see it if You don't like adult humor, you're not there for a good time, you're a snob about theatre and can't have fun in a show.
See it if you like immersive shows where the actors interact with you and you're able to embrace a different take on The Grinch.
Don't see it if You're expecting a family friendly show about the Dr. Seuss classic- for more mature audiences in my opinion.
See it if you love raunchy, unapologetic comedies with a serious side, or just love Lesli Margherita.
Don't see it if you don't enjoy crude/sexual language, one-woman shows, or don't respect theatre royalty.
See it if you love terrible rhymes, enjoy predictability, have a juvenile sense of humor, wonder what happened to Cindy Lou Who, have nothing to do.
Don't see it if you love Dr. Seuss, think a couplet is a garment, care about losing 60 minutes you will never get back, hold Off Broadway to a high standard
See it if You want to see a pro do her job like a pro. Lesli Margherita is stuck in this one, clearly knows it's bad, but keeps punching.
Don't see it if You don't like racial stereotypes. Have a sense of humor, or cringe at bad rhymes.
See it if You have good taste. The script is just hilarious and impressive to keep the couplets. Lesli Margherita is A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH!!!
Don't see it if You don’t like audience interactive shows. If You have bad taste or are a general theatre snob. If you hate having fun.
