Also The best thing about the show, in my opinion, is the love between the characters. Even though there is conflict throughout, you can still feel the love between the siblings and the parents and it is easy to get pulled into the story. See it if If you want to know what love is and why we struggle to figure out what love is in new and unexpected relationships.

Also This show is a funny, startling, gender bending romp of a fable set in the Middle East but with gifts for everyone, everywhere.

You will be crying one minute and laughing the next.

You will find yourself.

If your heart is open you will learn something YOU didn't know about love.

The play does not tax the intellect but don't let the simplicity of the fable beguile you.

If you let the story into your heart, mind and soul you will go places YOU have never been before and find meaning you never knew existed, especially if you don't believe in love...

And for theater trivia nuts A Second Birth is full of not so subtle homages to Twain's Huckleberry Finn, and other much much more subtle references to other plays and musicals that the talented author loves. Doesn't every good artist do that?

Finally, the players bring reality to the show. If you stay after you will discover that who they seem to be on stage is not who they really are...
