Refreshing, Delightful, Great staging, Entertaining, Clever

See it if you enjoy a very creative show about the environment. Wonderful use of puppetry, music and dance. Great for kids and adults.

Don't see it if you don't like children in the audience. This is a children's theater but they were very attentive to this show. Read more

Delightful

See it if Beautiful children's puppet show of a Native American tale of a crane's journey to restore balance in nature. Weaves songs & native stories.

Don't see it if Puppets, feel good, talking children in audience, simplistic Native issues aren't your thing. 1 hour 15 mins; no intermission. Read more

Don't see it if You do not like shows which contain some dialogue in Native American language and which may not always be easy to follow

Excruciating, Disappointing, Banal

See it if I expected a great puppet show. This show may be great for kids as an adult I was painfully bored. The old man next to me was sleeping.

Don't see it if If you are an adult without a child you will be painfully bored and think about your plans after you break free from turtle island.

Resonant, Profound, Enchanting, Delightful

See it if You appreciate what came before you. This is a beautifully staged and wonderfully performed Native American story.

Don't see it if You are just looking for fun entertainment. This is more soulful than funny.

The Theatre Times

"The play imagines a world in which figures from First Nations mythology coexist with contemporary ecological concerns and an urban landscape...Diversity is woven into every aspect of this show, from the range of musical styles to the variety of puppetry techniques...A talented puppeteer and singer, Henry is above all a storyteller, and this is her role both in the world of the play and on the stage...The show’s finale is a spectacular display of technical virtuosity."
