See it if A good score and lyrics can overcome other flaws for you.

Don't see it if If you need a show with some sort of sensible book and choreography that adds to the show.

See it if You're ready for a repeat of the same Trump bashing we know by heart that adds nothing to the discussion in either direction, left or right.

Don't see it if You support the current president or expect surprise, wit or a memorable score in your musical political satire.

Also What feels like a hastily produced reaction to current events in Washington and the daily bombardments of tweets flying out of the Oval Office, this show lacks the wit or rage to cut as satire, and the musical aspect adds nothing to the material; it's really a straight political comedy wearing a dress.

Tom Attea's book lacks a solid dramatic hook & lyrics are dense, long-winded & heavy-handed. In spite of spirited playing by the uncredited piano, bass & drums offstage, music by Arthur Abrams is unfortunately unimpressionable & flat save for two or three dance numbers.

Mark Marcante’s direction does what it can to keep things moving, though Angela Harriell’s choreography seems overdone each time leads Isaac Miller and Alexandra Schwartz sing a duet.

The cast is young & game, going for it with conviction, never more so than in Matt Gorsky's solo-with-trio turn Middle Management. David O. Friedman’s over-the-top-even-for-Trump wears a lovely red tie that should be much much longer.... Read more Read less

Don't see it if you want to see an edgy musical with dark humor.
