Layering movement, puppetry, live music, found text, and animation, Chris Green and a multi-disciplinary ensemble create an absurdist meditation on losing your footing in the pursuit of happiness.
See it if You enjoy performance art. The description of this show doesn’t do it justice. As performance art it’d rate much higher. Some great parts.
Don't see it if You’re easily bored or can’t think outside the box...way outside!
See it if some well-done puppetry on display in this political piece of experimental art, it aims high, doesn't quite hit the mark, but interesting
Don't see it if you need a spelt out plot, fast pace or if patrionising political commentary winds you up (definitely don't read the program notes)
See it if You want to see an ambitious original work. Good music, good puppetry.
Don't see it if You expect some cogency, an attempt to approach the reported theme, and some check on personal indulgence.
See it if You like meditative abstract pieces that leave a lot of room for interpretation.
Don't see it if You expect a coherent story where each gesture is like a nail holding the structure together.
