The Seeing Place presents a new adaptation of George Orwells novel, which tells the story of what happens when a group of farm animals drive out their master and take over. More…
From the show:
Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the book being written.
The animals on a farm drive out their master and take over and run the farm for themselves. The experiment is successful, except that someone has to take the deposed farmer's place. Leadership devolves upon the pigs, which are cleverer than the rest of the animals. Unfortunately, their character is not equal to their intelligence. This dramatization remains faithful to the book's plot and intent and retains both its affection for the animals and the incisiveness of its message.
See it if you want to experience a great ensemble preforming original material they have developed based on the famous novel Animal Farm.
Don't see it if political dialog makes you sleepy. A great deal of action is built into the performance but the book consists of repeated similar speeches.
See it if you've never read the book, or just feel the need to revisit a masterpiece. Also, this is what OOB should be about but rarely is.
Don't see it if you need a lot of bells and whistles to hold your attention in a theatre. This is minimal, and expertly done. Also, this is serious drama.
See it if You are interested in thought provoking, relevant theater, where 4 people play 28 characters. Really an ambitious, amazing production.
Don't see it if You don’t enjoy relevant theater. It you can’t sit for over two hours with an intermission. If you don’t like George Orwell.

See it if you love a classic George Orwell take on socialism gone animal wild. Can't but help thinking of The Bern crowd, and would they get the point
Don't see it if you don't like primitive staging, & four actors playing about a half dozen roles each. You love The Bern/socialism and hate it being mocked.
See it if You want to see a creative adaptation of a complex classic . . . walk on your TWO LEGS to the TSP theatre to see this innovative performance
Don't see it if you prefer traditional performances and non-political/societal topics.
See it if You like the book
Don't see it if Don't like small off off that runs long with a very long intermission. Also they make a pitch for you to rate it on show- score. So grade
