Absorbing, Funny, Great acting, Enchanting

See it if You enjoy seeing characters interact. The three leads are great, and played off each other well.

Don't see it if Parts dragged. You don't like plays without much action. It picks up significantly in the second act.

Great writing, Melodramatic, Dated, Uneven

See it if you are an O'Neill fan and prefer intimate stagings of his work. The set is simple but effective.

Don't see it if you expect cohesiveness in an ensemble. Anna's characterization felt much too contemporary in what is supposed to be a period setting.

Don't see it if You don't care for classics or intense drama. You want light frivolous themes. You expect big stage sets & gimmicky lighting & sound. Read more

Great acting, Great writing, Profound, Brilliant rendering of an american classic. we're lost in the fog of the bad old days of hard lives, hard drinking, and women without a chance in a man's world.

See it if You want real insight into early O'Neill on his way to becoming the foremost American playwright of deep human tragedy.

Don't see it if You can't handle an unblinking look at the ugly underbelly of the struggles of immigrants to America back in the very early 20th century.

Absorbing, Great staging, Resonant, Intelligent

See it if you love a beautiful production of an O'Neil classic. All four actors do the job to a T.

Don't see it if you are waiting for Liam Neeson to come back to redo it.

Absorbing, Clever, Entertaining, Great acting, Great writing

See it if Shows in a very intimate setting where you are literally on top of the stage. That are very well written and are intense.

Don't see it if You are into shows with big budgets that have a lot of props and set changes. Or if your into lighthearted or family oriented shows.
