Don't see it if you are looking for a play with a story. This is more performance art based on true experiences. Some talk is fast and soft thereby unheard.

See it if a program of well choreographed singing, dancing & spitfire factoids is your kind of evening. The young, attractive performers work hard.

Don't see it if you expect deep insight or revelations. The script is offers a lot of information about Judaism in all its forms but lacks intimacy.

See it if You'd like a melange of stories & song re Jewish women's lives.This show sprung from cast exp. and nicely distills the cultural history.

Don't see it if Not sure a non-Jewish audience would appreciate. No plot & as lovely as cast is, there's a self-consciousness which doesn't always work.

See it if If you like unconventional storytelling told by a talented cast of women.

See it if you have an interest in the lives of young Jewish women. This delightful show deals with the diaspora, sexism & family issues. Quite moving.

Don't see it if If you have no interest in Jewish issues, or are not interested in seeing a play that only has female cast members.

See it if you are interested in theater that's experimental, personally-driven, and Jewish.

Don't see it if You want a strong narrative thread. This show consists of “bits,” which although familiar, do not provide insight.

See it if you like stories about women and theatre that mixes movement, songs, music. You don't have to be Jewish to relate to this piece.

Don't see it if you want a traditional play or linear story.

See it if You enjoy works-in-progress that combine music & movement. You're interested in women's identity issues. Talented cast, some moving moments.

Don't see it if You're looking for a big, glitzy polished piece of writing. The individual moments don't add up here . . . maybe someday, with good editing

Don't see it if Some parts deal with heavy subject matter and trauma, don’t see if you’re not prepared to handle that.

See it if You are particularly interested in the history of women specifically Jewish women.

Don't see it if You are looking for easy entertainment.

See it if 6 Jewish women explore threads of their religious & cultural roots, the affects on them now, and hopes for honoring that story in the future

Don't see it if You are unable to have sympathy for and see life from the perspective of minority women who have a history of oppression and injustice.

See it if You're Jewish, particularly if you're a Jewish woman, and you're interested in your experiences.

Don't see it if I'm not going to say you shouldn't see it if you're not Jewish, because I saw it and enjoyed it, but I missed a lot of it.

See it if You are interested in Jewish heritage, how time and new countries impact on "tradition." Why to we run from and cling to traditions.

Don't see it if Non of the above appeals to you. You are not interested in religion as part of life, yours or any one else's.

See it if dicussion, contemplation and familial story-telling from (various) Jewish/Female roots. Told through an ensemble of engaging young women.

Don't see it if you don't like spoken word, audio recordings, music and movement used to express story, rather than a linear book.

Also This was performed beautifully, and I found all of the cast members to be engaging, endearing and open. They are telling their stories, experiences, family history and tragedies passed down.

I appreciated the diversity of the Jewish roots presented. From Moracco, to France, America and Venezuela, to Sephardic, Ashkanazi, Orthodox and Reformed.

You do not have to be Jewish to appreciate the this work. I am not, and thought it was especially targeted toward those of us who just wanted to know more, especially from a younger generation willing to talk about being Jewish AND being a woman, AND having a South American surname called into question AND being from France AND (in one case) being bi-sexual.

The violin music was a perfect companion to the choreography and the culture.

The show takes it's time, and unfolds slowly. It could use a little pick me up in the unspoken sections.

I enjoyed the hanging art work and would have liked to know more about it.... Read more Read less
