See it if 6 Jewish women explore threads of their religious & cultural roots, the affects on them now, and hopes for honoring that story in the future

Don't see it if You are unable to have sympathy for and see life from the perspective of minority women who have a history of oppression and injustice.

See it if You're Jewish, particularly if you're a Jewish woman, and you're interested in your experiences.

Don't see it if I'm not going to say you shouldn't see it if you're not Jewish, because I saw it and enjoyed it, but I missed a lot of it.

See it if You are interested in Jewish heritage, how time and new countries impact on "tradition." Why to we run from and cling to traditions.

Don't see it if Non of the above appeals to you. You are not interested in religion as part of life, yours or any one else's.

See it if dicussion, contemplation and familial story-telling from (various) Jewish/Female roots. Told through an ensemble of engaging young women.

Don't see it if you don't like spoken word, audio recordings, music and movement used to express story, rather than a linear book.

Also This was performed beautifully, and I found all of the cast members to be engaging, endearing and open. They are telling their stories, experiences, family history and tragedies passed down.

I appreciated the diversity of the Jewish roots presented. From Moracco, to France, America and Venezuela, to Sephardic, Ashkanazi, Orthodox and Reformed.

You do not have to be Jewish to appreciate the this work. I am not, and thought it was especially targeted toward those of us who just wanted to know more, especially from a younger generation willing to talk about being Jewish AND being a woman, AND having a South American surname called into question AND being from France AND (in one case) being bi-sexual.

The violin music was a perfect companion to the choreography and the culture.

The show takes it's time, and unfolds slowly. It could use a little pick me up in the unspoken sections.

I enjoyed the hanging art work and would have liked to know more about it.... Read more Read less

Don't see it if if you want a plot; if you don't like dance and music; you may find it confusing if you're not Jewish

See it if You are interested in hearing about the intersections of Judaism and womanhood and hearing personal stories

Don't see it if You have an aversion to non-linear theatre

See it if You like devised theatre written and performed by a multi-talented group of women. You want to hear stories from under-represented voices

Don't see it if You don't like abstract or movement based theatre. You don't like nonlinear theatre. You like straightforward stories.

See it if You want to know more about the stories of Jewish women in America, you enjoy pieces that include live music and movement

Don't see it if You don't like autobiographical theatre, you prefer pieces with straightforward narrative and characters

See it if You like devised, movement based work with thoughtful stories of Jewish women through time.

Don't see it if You want something entertaining where you don’t have to think about what is really happening in the world.
