See it if you want to see theater's inner working. A play about actors at various career levels auditioning & performing as played by acting students.
Don't see it if you expect professional level performances. These are students. They work hard but they are clearly still learning.
See it if You don't mind simple staging. You like a lot of singing (it is a musical). You want to hear some funny lines. There are moments to laugh.
Don't see it if You want something with more meat and potatoes as a play. You don't like musicals. You need elaborate staging.
See it if If you like very meta shows in small intimate theaters with a cute score and book.
Don't see it if If you want a big production or a deep story. This felt kind of like a really good community theatre production.
See it if you like musicals even though the singing is so-so and the acting is so-so and the set is so-so...I left after the first act at intermission
Don't see it if you expect a memorable singing/acting experience. So-so comedy and so-so everything. Really probably a vanity project.
See it if You like a lightweight show with pleasant but ultimately unmemorable music (and whose message takes far too long to be stated).
Don't see it if You expect to hear polished singers or a well-defined plot-line.
See it if You're sadistic enough to enjoy the meta of struggling actors in a shitty musical about struggling actors in a shitty musical.
Don't see it if You're hoping for anything more than a mildly amusing look at actors struggling (I know, what a new and refreshing topic!)
See it if It is the last thing on earth left to do or you enjoy community theatre
Don't see it if You love theatre, are looking to be entertained by good singing, and enjoy a good plot.
See it if You want to know something about what it's like to become an actor. This was an ordinary show. Nothing felt authentic. Music, unimaginative.
Don't see it if You have no interest in how to become an actor or the obstacles faced.
See it if you are a fan of good character portrayals, but don't mind an overambitious plot line.
Don't see it if you're expecting a musical with strong choreography and a balance between musical numbers and dialogue
See it if You want to see a entertaining show with funny songs, but not much story. I enjoyed it!
Don't see it if If you want to see a show with a story. Learn from me...don't sit next to the speaker, way to loud
See it if you appreciate charming, nostalgic musicals with simple plots and character relationships requiring no audience intellectual effort
Don't see it if you insist on memorable, outstanding lyrics and melodies, expert acting, a riveting plot or an important and relevant social/political theme
See it if You have the ability to see past the flaws and can imagine how it would be with a lot of reworking and a cast that was strong and talented.
Don't see it if You lose patience with poor performances and a script and music that needs to desperately improve as well as the ridiculous choreography
See it if You want to see a new musical, full of rhyming songs (it becomes fun to guess the next couplet), by performers who seem to be having fun.
Don't see it if You are looking for a plot, or don't like works that break the fourth wall.
See it if you don't mind weak, confusing at times story line, both good and mediocre singer/actors.
Don't see it if you want a polished play and don't mind the overpowering piano player.
Also Wish it could have been more.
See it if you can be content with some good tunes and few funny lines. Desire to support aspiring performers and show creators.
Don't see it if don't be fooled by non-credible high ratings from unrated showcase members. Show is week in all aspects accompanied by single loud keyboard
Also Venue is dilapidated and grubby.
See it if If you. Want to see a cute simple musical about actors who are aging. Very low-budget but very hopeful writing and acting
Don't see it if If you want a Big production or staging or top rate actors. It was a Sweet show
