Dandy Darkly's immersive storytelling experience touches on allegorical tales concerning a junkie Persephone, space puppy Laika, virtual reality fixation, and humanity's first artist, Cha-Cha the Caveman. He cites folklorist Joseph Campbell, recent celebrity deaths, his childhood love of mythology, and his personal struggles with substance abuse as influences for crafting this one-person show, which is backed by a nonstop soundscape of prerecorded music.
