Funny, Indulgent, Romantic, Insipid, Great singing

See it if You like a conventional love story with some nice songs and good singers.

Don't see it if You want something with some bite and less corn.

Also I was hoping for a more challenging work. This one is pleasant but not... Read more Read less

Indulgent, Quirky, Cliched, Banal, Ambitious

See it if Want to see a quirky musical about a couple's relationship with a melancholy undertone. Enjoy seeing a talented cast work hard. s

Don't see it if Want to see an original show which has the courage of it's convictions. Want to see a show that is subtle not predictable.

Ambitious

See it if You like small new musicals, with an old fashioned charm.

Don't see it if You want that old fashioned charm to not fade away at 45 minute mark.

Also Feels like the idea was to take old-fashioned romantic musical-comedy,... Read more Read less

Uneven, Cliched, Overly long, Disappointing

See it if You're interested in seeing small original musicals. The show is overly sweet (not in a good way) but I liked the more serious scenes.

Don't see it if Too much of the show is WAY too sugary sweet, to the point where it was kind of annoying. A song about Licorice? ::Eyeroll:: no thanks

Also It has some potential but should really be cut down to 90min with no i... Read more Read less

Entertaining, Cliched

See it if You love seeing a brand new musical. Or are already a fan of the cast.

Don't see it if You're looking for something new or refreshing.

Also The performances are good, and there's 2 great songs. But the "artist ... Read more Read less

Needs some thoughtful (but ruthless) trimming, Pleasantly tuneful in an old-fashioned way, It frequently gets mired in cutesiness, clichés, & self-importance, At its best it is disarmingly charming & original

See it if you enjoyed ONCE & THE LAST FIVE YEARS ... if you are looking for something cute & romantic that also wants to be taken seriously.

Don't see it if too-cute romantic dramedies induce sugar-shock

Also My first impression was that this was a refreshing take on an old-fash... Read more Read less
