Spanning several decades, 'Facing the Bull' follows Bonna as she pursues her professional dreams, while trying to maintain a stable relationship with the woman she loves. Faith and doubt, adventure and risk, love and courage come into play as Bonna tells her story through original songs and memory play, accompanied by five actor/musicians.

Ambitious, Confusing, Quirky, Disappointing

See it if you like the Folk Rock music of Lisa Bonner. This is a concert with biographical dialogue between songs; band members play the parts

Don't see it if you expect a play. The characters are thinly presented. The plot points are described more than shown. Songs don't always match situations.

Ambitious, A few songs entertained

See it if You want an 80min. feminist manifesto w music & very enthusiastic cast. Lisa Bonner has a following & they seemed to love every minute.

Don't see it if Wish the musicians were better actors, the songs didn't all sound the same, U have trouble hearing or don't like shows in nontrad. spaces.
