See it if you want to see a story about the way a small ethnic community interacts, through music, song, dance and dialogue.

Don't see it if If you are expecting a Broadway production. Sound (maybe some of the songs) a bit off. All in all, A for effort and enjoyable. Good energy.

See it if you're a Hispanic living in NYC. it's filled with latinx pride, and a sense of community you can't get anywhere else. great writing.

See it if If you missed the broadway production, this version will tiptoe you through the transitions of community. Pride, respect and disappointment.

See it if you have not seen too many great musicals. This show was a billed as a cross between West Side Story and On Your Feet. It was neither to me.
