See it if You want a quick mindless fun romp down memory lane (if you’re old enough that punk during high school would be memory lane).

Don't see it if You’re sober or expect a serious night of theatre. This is just silly fun.

See it if Wacky and different, story about teen years, funny at times, the cast is very good in acting and sing, with inside joke.

Don't see it if Not for anyone, cursing in show, small back area, it like off-off broadway. Its not a thinking show. No big light and big bright stage.

See it if You love alternative rock, large enthusiastic cast and wacky storyline. Lead guy sounds just like Blink 182 and is awesome!

Don't see it if You prefer opera or classical music. Show flies by at 70 minutes no intermission

See it if You remember this world and were a part of it. Smart music and an interesting space. The book was good and the band was stellar.

Don't see it if You need your jokes to land, your sound to be good, and the-over-the-topness to be relevant instead of exhausting.

See it if you want a fast, light evening, with some silly high concept laughs. Excellently passed at only 65 min. But it didn't need more.

Don't see it if You don't like punk music. Are expecting more than a high energy spoof. Arrive early for benches - cabaret chairs can be uncomfortable.

See it if You want to go see a fun show in a bar.

Don't see it if The late 90s-early 2000s weren't a time when you were paying attention to what the kids were into.

See it if You enjoy Light Rock Opera with good voices about puerile high school angst

Don't see it if You hope for a complicated plot or real Punk

See it if If you're up for a silly raunchy loud musical in a bar. Cute, fun, not deep. Talented singers-mother was played by a swing and she was great

Don't see it if You want an original plot or deep emotional connections, or can't sit on bar chairs for over an hour. This is just fun.

See it if If you like blink 182 and high school humor, and you wanna see Averil Levine...

See it if you remember the Pop Punk times. It's a quick 1 hour show, and enjoyable, but don't expect too much. Similar to a Bill and Ted's story.

Don't see it if you are sober.. I recommend going with some friends who enjoyed this era and just sit back and enjoy. It had some funny lines.

Also Felt like a high school musical, but still enjoyable. Don't expect deep thought or plot. If have nothing better to do and want to grab a drink and a show stop on in an watch a musical. Don't see it if You don’t like small, cramped venues where the actors are in your face, or loud, aggressive music.

See it if You're up for a bunch of energetic, creative, committed to the wacky script young people sing & dance as they try to be the coolest PRH kid!

Don't see it if You'd be irked by same! Lead actor is charming funny star & rest of cast is great 2. Simple silly fun-nothing deep. U must give in 2 premise

See it if You want a cheap nigt with a pretty funny spoof on the year 2003. Some songs were interesting! Ghost of Avril Lavigne was hilarious!

Don't see it if You enjoy really well put together pieces of art. This is a show you cannot over think or take too seriously.

See it if you're of the age to appreciate a loving mockery of the pop-punk years.

Don't see it if you're not a fan of the genre, or are sensitive about cursing - there's a lot of it.

Also It's ridiculous, but in the best way - the ghost/genie of Avril Lavigne is a character. Having grown up on the tail end of the pop-punk years (the show's set in 2003, when I was 10), it's fun to look back and laugh at the things I took so seriously at that age. See it if you're in mood for a silly juvenile good time. Nice alternative to just goin to a bar as you can have your drink (w/ friends) w/ a fun show!

Don't see it if you're too old to enjoy silliness... but with a drink or two, you might enjoy it too. The hyper energetic talented cast make it worth a try.

See it if you TOTALLY had a pop punk angsty childhood or had a child with that phase of life, you love pop punk music

Don't see it if you're not into profanity and a lot of ridiculous crude humour, you really don't like pop punk music, you have no idea who Avril Lavinge is

See it if Silly quirky wacky fun with an enthusiastic cast that pops up left and right dancing and screaming 2003 pop punk style.

Don't see it if Highly raunchy jokes with plenty of screaming and energy. Truly off-off broadway value at best standing behind a bar. Undemanding storyline

Also Who knew there would be a full-on functional stage with seating hiding behind a low-key dive bar?

See it if you like super high energy pop musicals about teen angst, loaded with hilarious sarcasm.

Don't see it if you prefer quiet and refined traditional musicals like Oklahoma. Also avoid if you don't get sarcastic humor.

Also This ambitious new musical features a super-talented young cast that can really belt out the sometimes-sweet, sometimes-edgy, oftentimes-loud songs. We were really impressed with the quality of writing and singing in this low-budget production.... Read more Read less
