About the show

"The Brothers Paranormal" follows two Thai brothers who launch a business to investigate paranormal activities. More…

When they investigate the home of an African-American couple, who have been displaced by Hurricane Katrina, their notions of reality, fantasy, and sanity clash against the shocking truth. This play highlights how present-day humanity deals with grief and the beauty of compassion that is revealed even in our darkest hours.

Somewhat insightful, Unfulfilling, Not believable, Disappointing, Uneven acting

See it if you like paranormal themes, exploration of family relationships and problems immigrants face living in a "new" society.

Don't see it if you expect consistently good acting and stories that are realistic that provide somewhat in-depth focus on relationships over fantasy.

Indulgent, Banal, Ambitious, Overrated, Disappointing

See it if you like horror stories and/or believe in ghosts.

Don't see it if you want to see a well written play about the paranormal.

Also Some of the actors were very good.

Ambitious, Disappointing, Excruciating, Slow

See it if you want to see a show that tries to scare you and if you are interested in ghosts. The second act is way better than the first.

Don't see it if you want to see a well written play, one that is fast paced and can hold your attention.

Slow, Good scary effects, Ambitious, Clever

See it if ..you'll enjoy a good ghost story about Thai immigrants dealing with profound loss. Good interracial relationships

Don't see it if .. 2 hrs is too long. Talky scenes are slow

Liu’s direction shifts deftly among registers: comedy, melancholy, suspense, and several genuine ...
