A few days before Christmas, choir director Bey Allman and her husband, Charles, anxiously await the return of their son from the big city. The smell of chicken and sweet potato pie fills the air. Holiday lights shine all over town. The seasonal joy is broken when they learn their son has been found dead at the door of the church. The Allmans' strength, perseverance, and faith are tested as they begin an arduous journey to discover what happened. Will the truth set them free...or drag them deeper into despair?
