Clever, Funny, Slow, Quirky, Disappointing

See it if You want to catch some really short plays by up-and-coming playwrights and directors, even if it's in a shoebox-sized theatre.

Don't see it if You aren't interested in tiny, off-off-Broadway shows, 10-minute plays, or a mixed bag of writing and performance quality.

Clever, Entertaining, Funny, Relevant, Quirky

See it if you enjoy a light hearted romp of new theater, quirky subjects, and a few tender moments.

Don't see it if you dislike short pieces which don't give time to develop full characterization; you don't like silliness in theater, you need a full set.

Clever, Funny, Great writing, Great acting, Entertaining

See it if You like seeing a play with short pieces. You want to laugh. You want to see something funny and different. You want to be entertained.

Don't see it if You are not interested in seeing a play that consists of short interesting pieces. You do not want to laugh.

Clever, Great acting, Great singing, Great writing, Refreshing

See it if you appreciate energetic, youthful casts and vignettes examining relationships generally and how each relationship informs future ones.

Don't see it if you prefer one shorter, linear plot, elaborate sets/costumes/music, or no music, or intellectual, complex philosophical or historical theme.

Clever, Entertaining, Funny, Great acting

See it if A collection of short plays (comedy sketches, really) loosely tied together around the theme of rebounding from bad romances appeals to you.

Don't see it if You dislike the idea of short quick playlets strung together.

Also I didn't have high hopes for this but was pleasantly surprised and enj... Read more Read less

Ambitious, Funny, Clever, Intelligent, Fun

See it if you enjoy vignettes, some funny, some poignant, around a loose theme then you would enjoy sitting thru these

Don't see it if If you prefer big stage productions or single line/theme stories then this is probably not your cup of tea.

See it if Like a variety of short plays exploring variations on the theme of rebound. Like David Ives plays. Like a showcase - bare bones but fun

Don't see it if Want a standard play with one narrative and full fledged set. Don't like experimental quirky off broadway.

Also There was a transitional play that played out in between the other sho... Read more Read less

Entertaining, Funny, Great acting, Relevant, Clever

See it if You are interested in seeing short plays joined by a common theme. You like small, intimate productions that feel like labors of love.

Don't see it if You want a highly produced, cohesive show. These mini-plays are not related except by theme, which is interpreted differently for each play.

Also Great acting and some really clever writing. The last piece, in partic... Read more Read less

Great acting, Refreshing, Relevant

See it if You enjoy short shows of varying quality with a central theme. Some are funny, some serious.

Don't see it if You'd rather more to a story than a 10ish minute skit can offer.

Great acting, Great staging, Intense

See it if It's a random collection of 7 short plays. If 1 bores you, another is quickly coming. Some interesting ideas on love, life, sex & destiny

Don't see it if you prefer linear stories and connective themes.

Relevant, Entertaining, Funny, Thought-provoking, Fluffy

See it if You enjoy short scenes on a common theme. Some of the writing was excellent while other segments were just ok. Most of the actors were good

Don't see it if You need consistency and do not like a variety of writing/acting styles

Funny, Quirky, Fluffy, Entertaining

See it if you want a fun night of very short, often funny or clever snippets and scenes around a particular theme. You want light, high energy.

“With expectations of talented actors and clever writing, it did not disappoint…What I found most wonderful throughout the evening was that, despite the varying interpretations and the extremely diverse writing and directing styles, the production as a whole feels like a cohesive unit...The ideas...

“How spurned lovers rebound from ill-fated affairs was the theme this year, one handled deftly by some of the writers involved and used as a loose pretext, or downright ignored, by some others. It was hard to see any connection to the evening’s theme in the cryptic ‘Robert and Lucy’…'Antares Retu...
