See it if you enjoy supporting small theatre companies, & (if you don't speak the language) are cool w/reading sub- or super-titles in this case.

Don't see it if sad family dramas are not your thing. It's heart-breaking; we sat still for a bit @ the end, until finally being able to take a deep breath.

Also Small production worth experiencing.

Small cast does a great job @ interpreting angst & heart-break of loss: parental love; marital intimacy; children's lives; love for life in general.

Heavy-handed but deeply moving. Haunting daughter "Celeste" (Tatiana Ronderos, Colombian) appears from beyond & speaks w/her dad "Juan" (Mateo Lamuño, Spaniard). Abandoned long ago by his father "Don Pablo" (Juan Acevedo, Puerto Rican), he seems to have lost all reason for living & loving. He's clearly losing his mind (to his wife) "Adriana" (Andrea Velasco, Chilean), w/whom he no longer wants to speak.

(I list all the countries of origin because while the accents are clearly distinct, they're not off-putting here, as they often can be to many whom can capture the differences).

Extremely melodramatic: loud intense delivery from "Juan" (sometimes unintelligible fast-talker); "Adriana's" real tears SLAY; sound-effects (music) & "Celeste's" creepy entrances/exits don't help. But it all WORKS real well.... Read more Read less

See it if You’d like to see a lyrical play in a small setting produced by a Latin x theatre.

Don't see it if You’d like something commercial and more mainstream. At IATI producing plays with the intention of commerciality is not a consideration.

See it if You want to support a great grassroots theatre.

Don't see it if You’d like a riveting evening of theatre that isn’t overly artsy.

See it if you like theatre that is thought-provoking and want to see a simple tridimensional story.

Don't see it if you are into big production. This company is more thought-provoking and intimate productions.
