Clever, Dated, Edgy, Slow, Disappointing

See it if Very creative. It’s a theater experience unlike any other you’ve had.

Don't see it if Show was not as creative as it used to be. Many of the bits were repetitive. Don’t see it if you can’t sit through 90 minutes of silence.

Disappointing, Quirky, Slow, Clever, Thought-provoking

See it if If there are children in your life younger than 13.... my favorite thing during the show was hearing the kids reactions.

Don't see it if If you don't like shows geared towards children.

Confusing, Disappointing, Enchanting

See it if You have a big imagination and enjoy puppetry.

Don't see it if You don't like shows with no fluid theme and very dark staging.

Clever, Disappointing, Quirky, Slow, Unusual

See it if you are curious about the troupe, who have been around for a long time; you enjoy old fashioned light and movement scenes - some updated.

Don't see it if you are easily bored; do not enjoy all the chatter of "little ones" who are encouraged to attend, even though they are quickly bored.

Also Having never seen this, I was curious. Might have enjoyed it in years ... Read more Read less

Also Sadly the company has lost its inventiveness and especially its sense ... Read more Read less

Don't see it if you get bored easily or if you don't want to sit among kids who get up/down & yell out loud, or have things tossed about your head.

Also I thought I'd like this one, but I was extremely bored 10 minutes in. ... Read more Read less

“Mellow and breathlessly inventive...A collection of classic, often amphibious routines, and a few new ones...Wordless and mostly silent...Sometimes it’s easy to see how the human performers manipulate these materials; sometimes the postindustrial creatures seem to move without any human help at ...

“That the pre-school and early-elementary set would respond so strongly to non-verbal entertainment may seem a given, but many of their parents, not to mention the majority of adults who came without children, seemed just as charmed...For all the clever choreography involved here, there is a sens...

"Another highly imaginative, enchanting show that magnifies the world with childlike wonder...A visual and cerebral feast for those of us who relish the experience of pareidolia (seeing faces in random objects)...The timelessness quality of Mummenschanz's work comes from the fact that they draw i...

"I observed little change from earlier presentations. Though this show is billed as 'new.' practically nothing IS, but for 5 second spots like visual haiku. I found this extremely disappointing both because images without activity/character lack sustained interest and because such fertile imagina...
