What is a Social?

We buy a bunch of tickets at a great price to a show and invite our members to join us. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. After the show, we hang out together and discuss what we just saw.

What's the Story?

The warring lovers of 'The Taming of the Shrew' are causing trouble both onstage and off. While putting on a musical version of Shakespeare’s play, exes Fred Graham and Lilli Vanessi (O’Hara) can’t decide if they’re enraged, enamored or enormously confused whenever they cross paths out of character. Throw in some mistaken identity, a pair of surprisingly eloquent gangsters and a whole lot of romantic entanglements, and what you get is 'Kiss Me, Kate'—a classic that earned the first-ever Tony Award for Best Musical.

What's the deal?

The tickets are $114 in the orchestra rear center and side, $89 in the mid mezzanine, and $144 in the orchestra prime center and side. These prices include our fee and one house wine, domestic beer, or soda on Show-Score after the show.

Where are we sitting?

This box office doesn't give us precise seat locations, but the theater itself has great sight lines all around.

How does this compare to what’s out there?

You can see all “Kiss Me Kate” deals on Show-Score. Our “socials” are not just about great prices -- they are also really fast and easy to order, and best of all, you’ll meet other theater fans like you.

What else do I need to know?

  • We really encourage you to come by yourself if you can’t find a friend. The whole point of a “social” is to meet fellow Show-Score members who love theater like you do!
  • The tickets are non-refundable. We’ll assign the seats from the ones we bought. Each ticket price includes a $15 fee.
  • A Show-Score Rep will be there to meet you. You’ll get an email in advance so you know who you’ll see there. No waiting in line at the box office!
  • We'll meet after the show. We will let you know the meeting place, and host the gathering. We will cover your drink (house wine, domestic beer, or soda).

If you’re interested but can’t make the dates, or if the seats are gone, please click the buttons above to join the waitlist or choose another date -- we’ll use that info to try and get more seats!
