Absorbing, Great acting

See it if You like excellent acting, interesting integration of music, touching but not overly sentimental drama

Don't see it if you need to see only current plays

Absorbing, Intelligent, Resonant, Thought-provoking

See it if You enjoy stories about families and how they work or not. Young English girl from lower class tries to find love & purpose on her own.

Don't see it if You could care less about how others try to overcome loveless childhoods.

See it if interested in issues of the past and history of theatre, 'angry young men' plays and would enjoy great acting and staging & live jazz music

Delightful, Entertaining, Funny, Great acting, Dated

See it if You want to see great acting, a good script, and a lovely band of 3 playing live music.

Don't see it if you expect a very realistic direction, or want to see a short play.

Great staging, Great acting, Resonant, Entertaining, Intelligent

See it if You like well executed revivals of British dramas set in the mid 20th century. Also, to see a breakout by a wonderful young actress.

Don't see it if You don't like working class British drama. You don't like 2.5 hour plays that should be 20 or 30 minutes shorter.
