Accomplice presents an 'adventure theater' experience, an interactive show that plunges you into events that take place in the real world. More…
An ongoing theatrical NYC sightseeing experience that is atypical and immersive, and departs from a top-secret location. The fun is in the surprises, which is why Accomplice only provides limited advance information. 'Accomplice New York' takes place in lower Manhattan, and once tickets are purchased you receive a details on your starting spot. This edition of the show runs from late March to late November, takes approximately three hours, and includes two drinks and light appetizers.
See it if You like to be involved in interactive theatre and are clever and witty and able to participate.
Don't see it if If you are shy, not good at figuring out clues, or have no sense of time.
See it if you like a bit of adventure, don't mind walking, work well with others, enjoy solving puzzles
Don't see it if you think this is "just a show," don't like interacting with strangers, get lost easily, need a solid plot line.
See it if You enjoy light immersive theatre, and want to see some beautiful parts of NYC whilst enjoying the experience
Don't see it if You have problems with walking for a fair distance with not much time to sit
See it if you want to explore New York with guidance, but in a fun and refreshing way. See parts of New York in a new light with a fun performance.
Don't see it if you don't like group activities. We had one person in our group that rudely took over everything and made the experience less fun.
See it if You like getting in a good walk and enjoy seeing the city. Not much plot. Mostly a hunt could be done quickly except for stops w/ actors
Don't see it if It is inclement weather, or hot out. most of it is walking outside. If you are looking for traditional theatre this isn't it.
See it if you love the city as theatre. you love walking about. you love adventure. you don't mind tourists.
Don't see it if you don't think a show is held outside of a theater. feels a little touristy too.
See it if you'd enjoy a hilarious, immersive, adventure through the streets of NYC. This is one of the most original and fun shows I've seen.
Don't see it if you can't walk or understand english. It does involve a good amount of walking and fast quippy dialogue.
See it if you are looking for a fun thing to do with a group that takes you around town a bit.
Don't see it if you are interested in sight seeing. This is more of a interactive experience and not so much about learning culture.
