Thought-provoking, Slow

See it if you are a patient type. It's a lovely, empathetic play about life, dying and food, and is sometimes very funny.

Don't see it if you need a fast pace or are upset by death; hate reading titles especially when they are hard to see.

See it if For a view into an America almost never seen on stage. Interested in stories about generational tensions and communication.

Don't see it if Can't identify with non-white protagonists (see lame excuses for Birth of the Dragon), looking for comedy or action, militantly vegan

See it if some wonderfully specific and genuinely poignant moments, lines and performances. good examination of food and family across cultures

Don't see it if the fantastic parts didn't cohere as a whole. too many endings. worth seeing mainly for superb acting and some profoundly moving scenes.
