Don't see it if if you are not interested in trauma and struggle
See it if you want to remember what it was like to struggle with growing up, risking in relationships vs. seeking safety in solitude.
Don't see it if you want a traditional Broadway-style song-and-dance show. Mostly lyrical solos and duets here, with two lovely harmonized trios in Act II.
See it if you like a sweet musical score, and a touching study of how a personal crisis can effect someones entire life and relationships.
Don't see it if you want a light and frothy musical, or require glamorous costumes or fancy sets to entertain you.
See it if Issues addressed hit close to home or in you enjoy original productions
Don't see it if Shows with a heavy or deep meaning don't interest you or offend you
See it if you like plays about teen angst, but with central character who is unlikeable, and has one note (angst) throughout.
Don't see it if you like upbeat plays. There's a bit of comedy that helps, and strong singing voices throughout. Some moving songs.
See it if You want to!
Don't see it if You don't want to!
See it if You understand emotional trauma and the strength it takes to heal. Not want to just survive life, but make it full. Believe music heals.
Don't see it if You don't like to cry in pubic.
