See it if Neil Patrick Harris as Hedwig was one of the most ambitious & muscular performances that I can recall.

Don't see it if You aren't into gender benders.

See it if looking for the not rehash type of play, edgy, well acted

Don't see it if uncomfortable with topic dealing with transgender, inner conflict and societal discriminations

See it if If you look intense, interesting, emotional personal stories and great music.

Don't see it if You don't like themes regarding sexual orientation.

See it if You enjoy rock and roll. Also very humorous (though most of it sexual which means it is not for young audiences).

Don't see it if Something would cause you to have a bad reaction to bright strobe lights.The show is mostly a monologue which means not a lot of interaction

See it if You're looking for something different than a standard musical.

Don't see it if You're offended by loud and raunchy - or, if you're a guy and you're in the orchestra and you're not looking to get groped by Hedwig.

See it if You like edgy, contemporary theater

Don't see it if You like traditional theater

See it if You like rock and roll and appreciate a (mostly) one man show.

Don't see it if You like to follow numerous characters in a show or want a linear plot.

See it if you have an open mind, can get on board with a loud, glam-rock esque score. You're in for a good time. Surprisingly very funny.

Don't see it if you are uncomfortable with homosexuality, transgender issues, and the uncharacterized. You hate the above mentioned type of music.
