Clever, Absorbing, Entertaining, Great acting, Intelligent

See it if the talent behind this 3 act play intrigues you. The night I saw Laura was off, but the cast is strong, especially Richard Thomas & Cynthia.

Don't see it if A long dated play is not your interest. It is incredibly well written, though, and is something to see this season.

See it if you want to see exceptional acting with an exquisite, charming, intimate setting.

Don't see it if you need dramatic set changes or large casts. Also not for anyone who doesn't like American sitting room plays.

See it if you want to see a classic piece about the unravelling of a Southern family in the early 1900's. The acting is superb!

Don't see it if you are looking for upbeat, light theater. It is quite intense.

See it if You want perfectly crafted performances by a truly gifted ensemble. I saw Ms.Nixon as Regina - now I want to see it again with Ms.Linney!

Don't see it if You want fluff. This is an engrossing, thought provoking play with themes that are still relevant today.

Absorbing, Great acting, Great writing, Riveting, Intelligent

See it if you want a great drama with powerhouse performances - depicting greed, power, family, money, & gender roles in 1900 America (and now, too).

Don't see it if you're interested in something light-hearted. This is compelling drama on powerful themes - made real by an impressive roster of actors.

Great acting, Resonant, Thought-provoking, Dated, Clever

See it if you want a masterclass in acting from the fabulous cast led by Laura Linney & Cynthia Nixon!

Don't see it if you are looking for anything "new". The classical approach to this production offers nothing we haven't seen before. Great acting, though.
