Must see, Great writing, Great acting, Enchanting

See it if This is a realistic Miller1956play of an Ital immigra fam. The AMAZING set:a barge in Redhook where longshor lived&worked. Terrific act&writ

Don't see it if offended by Italian accent which adds a sense of realism to drama, fortifying the treatment of theme-here corruption on the Bklyn front.MORE Read more

Intense, Ambitious, Thought-provoking, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if you want an exceptional experience. The old barge adds a resonance to the story of life near the docks. The play is a classic & well done

Don't see it if "well made" plays don't appeal to you. Even in this setting with actors passing within inches of your seat, the motivations are dated

Intelligent, Intense, Great writing, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if this is an intimate, barebones version performed exactly where the play is set. beautifully done

Don't see it if you don't like Miller, or don't like realism, intensity & tragedy in your theater experience.

1955 spin on immigration, Waterfront museum, View from a barge

See it if you'd enjoy the 1955 Miller classic aboard a 104-year-old hooded barge (the last one extant), with a fine cast. Well done.

Don't see it if you'd dislike an intimate waterfront setting in Red Hook, where Miller set the play, or want to avoid this immigrant tale. Read more

Riveting, Refreshing, Great writing, Great singing, Great acting

See it if Outstanding performance. The singing, music and acting was great.

Don't see it if I wish the staging, costumes and props were better.
