At a time when our isolation and uncertain futures amplify the need to take care of ourselves and others, the performance asks around the question, "What happens when the nurturers are unable to nurture the people who need them?" "Is it Supposed to Last?" is a play, but also a streamer-stuffed, Neil Diamond-enhanced, Zoom-captured party celebrating the good parts of people, a ritual of friendship, and an exorcism of the bile that comes in between.
