A myth-driven descent into memory and power, written and directed by Hideki Noda.
Set within a surreal framework that draws on myth and memory, the narrative follows a descent shaped by ambition, illusion, and shifting realities. The structure evokes a Faustian exchange, where characters navigate distorted truths and the consequences of desire, moving through layered episodes that blur past and present.
The work is written and directed by Hideki Noda (The Bee; A Night At The Kabuki), who also performs in the production. It is presented by NODA MAP, founded by Noda in 1994, known for international productions including Red Demon and The Diver. The cast includes Sadawo Abe, Suzu Hirose, and Eri Fukatsu.
Performed in Japanese with English subtitles, the production marks its UK premiere and continues NODA MAP’s practice of blending large-scale theatricality with stylised storytelling across international stages.
