On Christmas Eve, the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge receives a chilling visit from the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley. Bound in chains for a lifetime of greed, Marley warns Scrooge that it is not too late to change his fate, but only if he survives three more ghostly encounters, each revealing the consequences of his actions and the path to redemption.

This production is a retelling of Dickens’ classic winter ghost story by Mark Gatiss, known for his work on Doctor Who and Sherlock. The 2025 staging follows a critically acclaimed 2023 run and uses Victorian special effects to evoke the atmospheric and supernatural elements of the story.
