The play traces their lives as they confront persistent global inequality, exploring how historical events, decisions, and systemic structures have contributed to the concentration of wealth among a few while much of humanity remains impoverished. Through time shifts and historical flashpoints, the narrative examines the causes and consequences of economic disparity from past to present.

The production dramatizes historical and contemporary figures, including revolutionary leader Thomas Sankara in post-colonial Burkina Faso, Florence Nightingale during British colonial India, and the delegates of the 1884 Berlin Conference.
