A multi-theatre co-production of Arthur Miller's tragic drama.
1950s Brooklyn: Eddie Carbone is a longshoreman who lives with his wife Beatrice and their niece Catherine. When Beatrice's cousins, Marco and Rodolpho, arrive illegally from Italy and stay with them, Eddie becomes increasingly jealous of Catherine's affection towards Rodolpho. As the tension between them intensifies, Eddie's repressed feelings towards Catherine are exposed, leading to tragic consequences.
'A View from the Bridge explores themes of love, jealousy, betrayal, and masculinity, highlighting the destructive consequences of suppressing one's desires and violating societal norms.
This is a co-production between the Rose Theatre, Headlong, Chichester Festival Theatre and the Octagon Theatre.
