A family adventure about a boy whose imagined worlds begin to darken.
The play follows Cass, a boy whose imagination has always carried him into epic adventures shaped by heroes, monsters, shipwrecks, and daring escapes. Guided by his grandmother’s love of Shakespeare, Cass creates entire worlds alongside his loyal imaginary companions. But when those stories begin to lose their spark and a creeping darkness unsettles his “elsewhere-world,” he is forced to confront change within the very place that once felt limitless.
Created by the Olivier-nominated team behind Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals, the production celebrates storytelling as both refuge and reckoning. Blending music, humor, and ensemble performance, the show explores friendship, creativity, and the evolving nature of imagination when childhood begins to shift.
