Zack May is a troubled young man who enlists in an Aviation Officer School for the U.S. Navy in a bid to escape his difficult past. During his grueling training program, he meets Paula, who works at the local factory. As they develop feelings for one another, Zack must confront his personal demons and prove himself worthy of the uniform he aspires to wear.
